2       Welsh Government Draft Budget 2024-2025: evidence session with the Minister for Health and Social Services, the Deputy Minister for Social Services and the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing

2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Minister for Health and Social Services, the Deputy Minister for Social Services and the Deputy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing.

2.2 The Minister and her Deputies agreed to write to the Committee with the following;

 

Ø  a copy of the letter and NHS Wales planning framework issued to health boards in December.

Ø  figures for the estimated cost of offering an additional 1% uplift to medical and dental staff.

Ø  details of the cost of the recent industrial action broken down by health board, both in terms of staffing and levels of activity.

Ø  details of how much of the agency spend over the last years represented profits for private companies.

Ø  details of how the resources for the children and family pilots were being targeted.

Ø  further information on substance misuse services.
